Rotary Die-Cutting Machines: One roller acts as an impression roller, applying pressure during die-cutting; the other is the die-cutting die. Roller dies come in two main categories: wooden and metal. The former is primarily used for die-cutting very thick corrugated cardboard, while the latter includes metal roller dies processed using chemical etching or electronic engraving methods, mainly used for die-cutting self-adhesive labels and trademarks. There is also a type of metal roller die primarily used for mid-to-high-end long-line products, employing either pressure cutting or shearing methods.
Rotary Flatbed Die-Cutting Machines: Rotary flatbed die-cutting machines are rarely used in the market, and there are no specialized manufacturers in China, so they will not be discussed further here.
Flatbed Die-Cutting Machines: Flatbed die-cutting machines are currently the most widely used and common type, and also the model with the most manufacturers both domestically and internationally. Domestic manufacturers include Shanghai Yahua, Tangshan Yuyin, Xinchuan Machinery, Beiren Group, Henan Xinji Group, and Beijing Shengli Weiye Printing Machinery Co., Ltd.; international manufacturers include BOBST (Switzerland), IMG (Germany), ASAHI (Japan), Standard Paperboard Machinery (USA), IBERICA (Spain), YoungShin Machinery Co., Ltd. (Korea), and IIJIMA (Japan). Flatbed die-cutting machines can be used for various types of die-cutting, ranging from semi-automatic (manual paper feeding) to fully automatic high-speed continuous die-cutting; they can die-cut corrugated cardboard, cardboard, self-adhesive labels, as well as rubber, sponge, and metal sheets.
